this cake is for my in laws' anniversary....

top layer is a chocolate cake which i baked in a metal mixing bowl coz i didn't have the right shaped pan =)...frosted with chocolate buttercream and fondant birds and leaves which i cut out...the "nest" is made with a bar of chocolate i chopped up...the second layer is a vanilla cake frosted with butter cream...i hand painted the wood effect with browl gel food color....
