oh... I thought you made them
no...they are real flowers that have been coated in a thin layer of egg whites & then dusted in superfine sugar so that they crust
Use a paint brush and egg whites. Use superfine sugar (aka jelling sugar) and sprinkle it on. Don't touch the flower petals with your fingers or you'll wipe it all off! Let dry overnight. Don't put in fridge!!
I have never seen anything like that! How beautiful! They flowers look like velvet! Very cool!
Wow is right!! Very beautiful!! What kind of flowers are they??
Ditto!! I'd like to know more about the flowers as well...
I just picked the flowers up at a local market. I don't really know...I guess daisies, mini roses, lilies??
Can you please give me the instructions on doing these flowers? They are very pretty. Did you dip the flowers or use a paint brush. This cake is really beautiful.
Beautiful work ... love your website
Where can you find that kind of sugar. I have looked everywhere for it and I can't find it
This is one of the prettiest cakes that I've seen, so simple and elegant. The cake looks flawless the edges are so sharp and smoothing is awesome.
