For the tree trunk I rolled out brown gumpaste into a thin strip and used a #12 wilton piping tip to make a scalloped edge and wrapped it around a wooden dowel. I also cut circles with the larger side of tip and layered them at the top. For the leaves I rolled out the green gumpaste and hand cut the leaves and attached floral wire underneath and shaped them.
