I've never taken any classes but my kids had their "theme's" picked out and thought I might give fondant a try for the 1st time. Thanks to the SB cake posted by nefgaby I was able to do something similar (although not as good). The Buzz rocketship cake was fun too, (although I'm sure its against NASA policy to ride on the outside of the rocket) the sparkler candles are coming out the back of the "rocketboosters" & finished the look when lit. I was scared to death to try fondant cause everywhere you read people say it's too hard to do at home...but give it a try newbies!!
