This cake was made for my Godsons birthday. He wanted the Magician theme and so I was able to get lots of ideas from cakes that I have seen here on CC. So thanks to all of you. The bottom cake was covered in merengue and the top hat was covered in fondant. After the cake was completed I had a little airbubble in the top hat and I had to cover it wih some stars. It's never happened before but we managed to cover it as best we could. I still like how it turned out. I guess practice makes perfect. The birthday boy was happy and that's what I was striving for. I need to keep practicing.lol. Thanks for looking.
