My daughter wanted a "princess kitty" cake, and settled on Marie from the Aristocats. She wanted a tiara, and I followed instructions on this site to make the tiara & the pillow cake. I made the kitten out of fondant (FondX). She held up well & dried quickly. Had to make an 2nd tiara as 1st one shattered while painting. Next time I would definitely paint (clear vanillla + lustre dust) while still on the can/bottle & allow to dry again before removing, then paint the back & allow to dry again. All in all it turned out well. The kids thought it was a real pillow!
