Well a big series of firsts; first castle, first gum paste trial, and first fondant/gum paste flowers. I do have much more respect for people who make castle cakes all the time, I had such different ideas but this is how it came out :/. Oh well, lessons learned next time I'll cut the fondant for the turrets and towers before placing them on, and will make more of the flowers on tooth picks so they can be pretty 3D ones :) Strawberry cake with vanilla frosting.
