Birthday cake for my husband who plays a Gretsch brand bass guitar. Buttercream with fondant accents. I piped on the strings which didn't turn out all that straight, I wanted to use licorice strings but apparently no one in my area sells them anymore, so I'll try mail order before I make another guitar cake.
