I was making this cake for our Mom's Club end of the year banquet, when I discovered that my son had Hand, Foot and Mouth disease. :( I tried the Buttercream Dream recipe and found that I really liked the taste of it but was having a hard time with the consistency due to the humidity. I didn't match the colors well but at that time I knew it was either going to be thrown away or given to friends and neighbors that were willing to risk HFMD...haha! I realized I really need to work on decorating with buttercream....so much to learn. I sprinkled glitter and sprinkles into the shell molds before filling them with the white candy melts.
