This is the second wedding cake I've done. the bride had to have sunflowers, and not silk ones. If any one has any pointers I'd love to hear them, as I know its not perfect.
The cake is absolutely cute and the colors are beautifull!!
Thank you all for the comments and feed back!!
oops, sorry this turned out so big, I am new at this...
I like it. You did a very good job.
I think your sunflowers are great. I'd love to know how you did them. Beautiful cake.
i used a daisy/sunflower cutter. I cut them out of fondant. Then i painted them with luster dust, yellow first, let dry, then added some red accents...thanks for the comments
I've seen sunflowers done in royal icing, using a leaf tip for the petals and a star tip for the center, but honestly, I can't say that they come out looking that much better than yours anyway! The cake is lovely!
I did try the royal icing ones...the bride said they looked too "cartooney!" lol
I think it looks great.. I wouldn't change a thing :) good job!
It is perfectly beautiful! Great job!
I think you did a wonderful job. I'm sure the bride was very happy.
