This is my first wedding cake. The flowers and butterflies are gumpaste. I was generally pleased with the end result, but I had trouble with applying the fondant to the 2 large tiers. I had some cracking and the bottom tier looked pocked instead of smooth. Could my foundant have been too dry? Any advice?
