My first wedding cake, 14", 12", 10", 8" and 6" wasc, the little satellites are 8" red velvet. It's all buttercream frosting, satin ribbon and silk gerbers. My hat is off to all of you who do this as a business. I'm just a hobby baker, love to do it for family & friends. This cake taught me I don't have the guts to do this as a job! The self imposed stress was unbelieveable, and the bride is my Goddaughter, sweet as can be and just thrilled with the cake, imperfections and all. I can't imagine dealing with a demanding, cranky paying customer.
