1st true cake disaster. This is the only picture I have of this cake. I made it for a friend's son's birthday and they live 2 1/2 hours away. It was 90 degrees in my car but I thought, why not put this super cute cake in there anyway and just turn on the AC? Oh, and did I mention I had another stupid thought when I was stacking it and decided, hey, I heard something about bubble tea straws...don't have any of those, I think I will try plastic straws to hold up this very heavy 3 tier 8" chocolate cake with another tier (soccer ball) on top....THEN I drive it in the heat, 2 1/2 hours away, took the curves way too fast and hit every bump along the way and cried when I opened the trunk and saw the top 2 tiers had collapsed and crushed the bottom one. STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!
