I made this cake for my father and uncle's birthdays, which fell right before and right after a family reunion. The car was supposed to be a '57 Chevy Bel-Air, a favorite of both of them. I found a fairly simple drawing, and traced it with piping gel. After doing the transfer, i had trouble seeing and following the lines. In hindsight, I should have done a practice cake a week before to make sure I could do it.
