The cake was to match the baby bedding. I like the design, but I'm not very happy with the quality of work. I had a hard time getting the fondant strips around the edges to meet up. I'm going to try buying a leveler to tort my cakes with instead of cutting by eye. I think having a perfectly level cake was tthe key here and I didn't quite get it- newbie lesson learned :)
