2 layers of cake but the lid is actualy a dummy just to add some height. Gumpaste cameo made using a mould i bought in the bargain bin ws a bit og a pain to get out of the mould but I should have let it dry a bit longer i think. Roses stuck on the cake brushed in gold lustre dust are gumpaste. Purple roses are my firrst attempt at gumpaste roses I brushed them with purple powder colour. same with the leaves. ropes done using my extruder. pearls are gumpaste balls dried and rolled in pearl lustre dust. and stuck on the cake with royal icing.
