My s-i-l asked me to make the cake for my nieces college graduation (for 80 people) nevermind that I only bake bday cakes for the kids and have never done such a huge project. I searched all over and found one with royal icing roses I liked and thought I could do, but then I thought...wait I'm trying to make a go of this cookie thing, why mess with icing roses, I'll just use cookies. My inspiration cake was the cascading ribbon roses by Absolutecakes and I had MaryEnglebreit cookies by trixiegirl31. It is a 14"square 2layer and a 10" cirle 2 layer, I also used gold dragees and lustre dust.
