First off, thank you 2muchsugar. I saw your French Poodle cake a long time ago and fell in love with it. While trying to come up with ideas for my Moms Mothers Day cake, I kept coming back to your beautiful cake. It inspired my colors and part of the design. Thank you! My Mom is a Disney FREAK! I wanted to do something really feminine and pretty. All the accents are dusted with Disco edible glitter and the white is dusted with champagne lustre dust. This was my first time covering a board in fondant, among other firsts. I had a great time doing it and my Mom LOVED it. The cake was her favorite, Strawberries and Cream with strawberry preserves and vanilla buttercream layers finished off with almond MMF.
