So I got a phone call late yesterday asking would I make a 21st cake for a young man....they didn't have much money to spend $50 in all.... so I said yes on the proviso that I would use the licorice decorations that I had already made... Last night I made the cake and the brown paper bag...and the rest of the licorice balls to go around the edge. This morning I put it all together... My son got up and said..." Mum.. I don't think Magnus will like having a 21st cake with lollies on it"... I also thought it looked a bit girly so... I stripped it down and redecorated it...
