This is the cake I did for my mom's surprise 55th birthday. First time using stencil and can't say it was easy. It looks better in the pictures than it did in person to me. Went off and forgot the fondant happy birthday plaque I made for the center tier, but no one seemed to notice. Added the fake flowers to cover flaws. Everyone thought it looked good so that made me feel better. It was way too much cake, but I knew that going in :). TFL.
