Lazy Cuban Days

This was a carrot cake with cream cheese icing made for a neighbor's birthday. The party had all Cuban food, so I created this cake. The flavor and theme were requested by the hostess.

thanks! they are chocolate. I free-handed them on waxed paper and stuck them in the cake once they were dry.

no, the hammock is the only part that isn't edible. It's a peice of mesh, tied to the chocolate trees with some string.

Wow freehanded the trees???? Amazing. I have tried so many ways to try trees. never come out right. I love the whole theme. You must have a beach near you.
