I made this for a boy's birthday. The design is from the 2002 Wilton Yearbook. I used the Stand-Up Cuddly Bear pan. The icing is buttercream. The scales and toenails are candy melts.
I agree! He's adorable!
That is an amazing green color!!!
I love this cake I want to make it for my little boys 4th birthday. He loves dinosaurs.
Very curious how you did the tail and snout. Just frosting? It looks (...) 'message', ':)')
I baked a cake in one of my small pyrex measuring cups. Cut it in half and placed against the dinos back. Cut a few more pieces to curve the tail. A cut up marshmallow at the tip. The snout is built up using icing.
To the faves! Thanks! :)
I think I'm making this cake for my son's 5th birthday as he loves dinosaurs! I saw it in the Wilton book also....so cute!
