Ok...have you ever had an idea in your head for a cake and thought, "Ohhhh... I'm not going to sketch this one out I think I have it down to what I want it to look like." And then it turns out nothing like thought? Really...you should always sketch it out...that would be this cake. It still turned out pretty but not with the OHHH and AHHHH I was really wanting. Double layer white cake filled with buttercream. Frosted with butter cream. Flowers made with MMF - still not sure about MMF. Bow and mary janes made with fondant/gum paste. This was for a friend's baby shower. Shoes turned out Ok..I would like to find a better pattern...maybe I will just try my hand at making one. LOL. Comments and helpful tips very much appreciated.
