This was a little bit of a challenge as far as the colors I had to use. My daughter is a strict vegetarian, and won't eat anything with gelatin in it. She and her friends also keep kosher, so I couldn't use any colors that weren't marked kosher. So I had to make do with the Schilling liquids (haven't used those since I was a kid--thank goodness they've come out with black), and cocoa for the brown. I could have done a lot better with my gel colors. I've since found kosher/vegetarian options.
