This is the Mickey Mouse cake from the Wilton 2006 yearbook minus the chocolate head....after buying all the pans and supplies needed for the cake I found out the Mickey head pan has been retired!!!! Thanks to Spills for rescuing me and sending a Mickey picture as well as providing great tips , I ended up making it out of fondant and putting it on a cardboard cut out. Also, thanks to Cambo for her help, she's such an awesome person! I used carstock for the hands, you can see the white chocolate I used to attach to the arms...oh well, by that time I was just happy to be finished. I used summernoelle's WASC Chocolate Cake recipe for the body, omg, everyone raved over it, this will now be the chocolate cake recipe I'll use going forward. 14" bottom was WASC Wedding Cake, balloons were made with fondant. This was a fun cake once I got past the head issue, my Grandson absolutely loved it! Thanks for looking!
