I made this cake for my mom's 50th birthday party which happened to be on New years eve. I didn't want to make fun of the fact that she was turning 50, but rather celibrate it. I fell that it is an accomplishment to live that long these days. About the cake I made a chocolate cake with mocha filling and white buttercream for the top. Chocolate ganache for the middle and a 9" cheese cake on bottom. The top was decorated with pink sugar flowers, and the middle tier had pink ploka dots!
