This cake was for my niece's first Birthday. The theme was "Pink Poodle in Paris". The figure at the top was supposed to be her (her nickname is Cherry - hence, the cherries on her dress). It was a chocolate cake, covered in vanilla buttercream, then in fondant. The flowers were dusted with dry pearl dust to give some shimmer. The figure and the poodle were both made out of fondant, and the leash was wired ribbon.
