This was the first cake I've made. It was for a couple's 50th anniversary. This cake was huge. It was about 14 x24x6. I didn't have a heart shaped pan, so I improvised. One heart was white cake, the other yellow, with buttercream icing. I used gold pearls and ribbon. I made my kids birthday cakes in the past to save money, but was elected to do this one. I haven't had any training or classes but would like to. I enjoy cake decorating very much.
