First of all, I borrowed the idea for this cake from MsSugarBaker... thanks! I made this 8 x 3in round cake for my little girl's 2nd birthday. This was my first attempt at using homemade marshmallow fondant. Other than my droopy palm tree leaves, I am pleased with the way it turned out. The hat and monkey are rice krispy treats covered with mmf.
