50th Birthday Flowers

White cake with buttercream and fondant flowers. I designed the flowers to match the party napkins and plates. I have never had such trouble with my buttercream as I did with this cake! The weather was very humid, and after several attempts, I had to scrape off the icing from the top tier and thicken with more powdered sugar to stop the drooping. The end result was not very smooth, but it ended up okay.
