This cake was for Sara Soley's First birthday. The party was celebrated and Jungle Island, and to play up on that theme they had a jungle themed party. This collage was done to show all the animals on the cake. All were fondant, completely edible. cake was vanilla cake with bavarian creme filling and fresh strawberries and chocolate with a fresh strawberry whipped creme filling... airbrush was used for sky and grass, and individual blades of grass were cut from gumpaste. sun was also made of gumpaste with individual rays mounted on... trees were rice crispir treat covered in white chocolate and then colorized with fondant... all other decorations: sign insects water etc, were made from mmf and gumpaste mix.
