This is my first sculpted cake and also the first time using gum paste. I made the gum paste and I think maybe I need to perfect the recipe. Many of my flowers did not dry completely. I am teaching myself how to make cakes and I learned a lot doing this one. I got a little frustrated with the flowers so I just ended up do my own thing...instead of trying to form them like what was in a book. I made this for my mother's birthday : )
