This cake is not really 3D, but it was made for our local fire department. Just a thank you gift. It's an 8" cake iced in buttercream. I used piping gel transfer to get the Austin Fire Department badge on the cake. I piped it with a small round tip in long lines to represent the embroidery. I used silver pearl dust on the helmet to make it a little shiny. I was very unhappy with the flames on the sides, but learned a lot from doing it.
