Blue Heart on Cake Central

I made this cake from my MIL's bday. She loves blue hearts. They are all over her kitchen. My first goof was the top layer was REALLY lopsided. I must have bumped it when I put it in the oven ( I was baking something else at the same time). I cut the high part off and glued it with a little frosting to the short side. Got the buttercream on nice and smooth went away for a moment came back to a huge hole in it which no one will admitt to making. Fixed that. The heart and balls are MMF. It was my first time to make it and I didn't have enough powdered sugar. Evidently this causes it to not hold it's shape well. It is very hot and humid here today and the border slid off twice!

Geez! This is only my third cake but I never thought it could be so hard, LOL!
