This is my first "wedding" cake! The bride showed me a picture of something that she liked and we made some changes to suit her wedding. the bottom tier is a 13" fuit cake (made by a friend of the bride), then 11" Vanilla, 9" Wacky cake, & 7" Vanilla. The cake is covered in Marshmallow fondant, and the roses are gumpaste, with a jewel pin in the centre of each rose. The trim at the bottom of each tier is actually the fabric of the bridesmaid dresses cut into 1" trim.
