My first tiered cake ever!!! And my first time working with fondant and fondant roses. I sure learned a lot about cake making with this one. Even though it is very imperfect my sister-in-law loved the cake and made sure everyone at the shower knew I made it! I was pretty happy with my first attempt at fondant roses, but my use of homemade fondant was horrible! I discovered Satin Ice soon after this - thank goodness!
