My most ambitious project so far! Jewelry box cake for my god-daughter's 9th birthday. Buttercake with strawberry buttercream and jam filling. Covered in buttercream with the jewel tray and lid made from tinted melted white chocolate. Jewels are non-edible. Later filled with real jewellery which was my gift to the birthday girl.
