made this cake for a coworker of my daughter for his birthday. He wanted white cake with mocha frosting. I made the sour cream white cake, drizzeled Kahlua between the layers, then frosted with a chocolate buttercream to which I added both Kahlua and a coffee concentrate I made from Pillon instant espresso and water; just enough to have a distinct coffee note (to taste).
