My 4 yrs old wanted a batman cake, we searched CC for inspiration and came upon a Superhero building by "awsus", so here is my version. I really worked at the fondant figures and they are not perfect but I learned a lot. At the party we had Mr. Freeze steal the cake. So I had to move it a bit and Batman lost 1 arm, Superman lost 1 hand, Spidermanlost both legs and 1 arm, and Flash lost both feet. The TMNT were just fine.
