This was a fun baby shower cake to make for a couple expecting a girl. The booties were created using the middle sized oval cake and a single-layer 6" round. The ovals were carved slightly to create the correct shape, then covered with bc shells to suggest a knitted bootie. Airbrushed shading, a piped bow and some piped bc flowers finish off these adorable shoes. The client-and the new parents- loved the cake.
