This is my variation from the one that someone else put on this site. Hers still reigns supreme, but for someone who's just gotten into cakes for only a year, I think I did well. (tooting my own horn at this point. ;) ) The spools were actually rice krispie treats with flavored fondant; all other decorations were fondant. The base was buttercream.
