All the cake layers were chocolate, iced w/ BC. The lavender ribbons were fondant. I had the loops for a fondant lavender bow still drying at the time I took this pic, and I wasn't going to assemble the bow until the next morning. This was done a couple of years ago, when I was new at the bakery I worked at. It was the first square multi-layer cake I did, and my first "gift box" style too. Not bad, but I see the flaws that I'd avoid next time. :-)
