This was for an adult baptism at my church. It was a last minute order and so I only had a day to figure out what to do. It was a full sheet cake and it was hard to fill all that space in. It looks a litle bare to me but I didn't know what else to do with it. Any suggestions for next time? The cak is iced in buttercream and the decorations are all fondant painted with luster dust. Love that stuff! It always adds that little something extra.
It looks beautiful. I think it has just enough, especially considering it was a baptism. What size was your sheet cake? It just couldn't have been more perfect. Great job!!!!!
I did two 11x15s together. I had a hard time coming up with something in such a short time. It was hard since it was an adult man. I didn't want it to be to girly.
I think it is very appropriate and elegant, just what you would want on an adult's baptism.
