Very cute. Your onesie came out perfect. You can't tell this was your first time using fondant. Great job. And congratulations on the new granddaughter :princess:

I drew out the onesie on tracing paper for a pattern. I got directions from one of the other onesie cakes to use a circle of fondant for the booties and just start gathering it up for the bootie. I did make an oblong "form" to gather the fondant around.Then placed a tightly twisted paper towl under the ruffles to hold their shape until they dried.

Is the base icing bc or is it all fondant? LOVE this cake!!
