I did this cake for the Middle Schools winter sports assembly which included 7th and 8th grade boys and girls basketball as well as cheerleading. The players names are on basketballs and megaphones around the sides and the coaches are on the tops. The bottom (1/2 sheet cake) is boy's bball, the second teir (1/4 sheet cake) is girl's bball, and the top tier (8x8 trimmed down) is cheerleaders. They didn't have the best season, but we wanted to individually recognize everyone for their efforts.
