Marissa's Shower
This was put together pretty quick when I was really tiered, as evidenced by me forgetting to put foil on the board!! (How do you forget that??) I had just seen one of Thanh's cakes with the lines on the corners, so I took that design idea for this one. Used my spray pearl luster dust and spray gold dust for the first time on the flowers. WOW! LUV this stuff! Silver dragees accents on the cake and flowers. THe silver borders beads are not edible. Not putting this one in my portfolio!
Uh... first line should read "really tired"! I must be a true caker ... the word "tier" comes just too easy! :oops:
LOL.....I thought you did "tiered" on purpose, but I knew what you meant and chuckled to myself. Where did you get your spray luster dust? It looks awesome on your flowers!
got it at my local supply shop (Ms. B's Sweet Supplies in Speedway IN). I heard about this stuff here on CC and then saw she had it in the shop. It cost me $9.95 for a can about 4-5" tall. Very expensive! VERY WORTH IT!
