Minnie Mouse Cake

Minnie Mouse Cake on Cake Central

This is my first post on CC! This cake was for my niece's 2nd bday party. The theme of the party was Minnie Mouse, and the decorations were bright pink and green, so I added those colors on the cake w/the flowers. The cake is pistachio and cherry chip, w/almond buttercream. The MMF is cherry flavored. The bow and flowers are MMF, Minnie is a royal transfer.

I absolutely love it!!! What a cute design, great colors and an amazing bow. I recently did a Minnie cake too - now I wish I had seen this first!

Oh my...this is incredibly cute. And I didn't know a royal icing transfer would work out like that - of course it would! Very nice indeed.

I typically don't add a comment when so many have already been left, but this is an awesome take on Minnie Mouse and the bow is fantastic! Can't wait to see more.

Coloring books and the internet are great sources. Dollar tree has tons of coloring books for a buck! I have only did simple things in chocolate. A heart, letters, etc, nothing like a picture. I think w/royal it is easier to work w/cuz you can make it stiff (for the outline) or add some water to thin it out (fill in). Heath...

Your cake is beautiful  and I am sorry to sound stupid, but what is MMF?I thought it might be Minnie mouse, but not really sure. And you mentioned  using a coloring book...how do you  do that? Do you  mind sharing?
