Matt's Super Hot Dog

I made this for a groom. He, his buddies and girlfriends get together every Sunday to watch sports and have a hot dog buffet competition, if you will. They make outrageous hot dog concoctions. He told me he has wrapped a hot dog, in a bun, with bacon, dipped it into batter, deep fried it and covered it with condements. So fun to make. Eat up and enjoy! :)

Holycow! A bacon/bun wrapped deep fried hotdog???...lol...actually sounds pretty good...but then again, anything wrapped in bacon would be yummy;-) Great cake!!!

The cake is carved of three 2" layers of cake, each 11"x15". Here is a video on youtube.com (...) If they block the link, you can find it called "Decorating A Cake". I will also pm those that asked for the link. It is carved and covered with fondant. Ketchup and mustard are fondant. "Relish" is green and white fondant bits mixed with green piping gel to make it shiny. It was airbrushed. The video explains everything. Thanks so much for the compliments!...
