Brittany's Whimsy Cake

This cake was designed from many photos of others cakes in which the bride pointed out all the different elements she liked. It definately reflected her funky and fun wedding in teal, lime green, chocolate brown and tourqouise. Her groomsmen wore brown suits with paisley printed Vera Bradley ties and vest. Her reception was on an art gallery terrace which fit her theme perfectly. I had so much fun making this cake. TFL. :)

omg! this cake is too cute! i just took an order for the same design. the grroomsmen are wearing the same ties & vest and the bridesmaids are wearing white dresses with matching belt and flip flops! it's a beach wedding! that is so crazy that as soon as i signed on i seen this cake! it is very nice!

Thanks so much :D I am overwhelmed with the complements and being added to the favs!!! The swirls are made of fondant "snakes", not piped. I wanted a really dimensional effect so I took the time to make them of fondant. I use Toba Garrett's recipe. I have tried many, many reicpes and hers is mine of choice. Thanks again!!!!
