It looks great!! For the shape try starting at the bottom/ top of the pot ...go all around then second layer start in-between . But how did you get them to stay in place? Mine kept falling off the sticks. Have yet to try again.
I've tried a couple different sticks. The ones I found are in the wood working section you can find them at Michaels or AC Moore. The are called craft sticks. They have a rounded top that reminds you of a mini popsicle stick but the bottom is pointy so easy to insert into the ball. Send me a pm if you want a pic of them. :)
